Graduate Admission Information
The university offers the following graduate programs, as approved by the UGC:
- Master of Arts in English Literature
- Master of Arts in ELT and Applied Linguistics
- Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA –16 months)
- Master of Business Administration (MBA – 1 year, for BBA Graduates)
- Master of Arts in Economics (1 year)
- Master of Arts in Economics (2 years)
- Master of Laws (LLM, 1 year)
- Master of Science in Computer Science and Engineering
Graduate Admission Requirements
A candidate for admission into the 2-year MBA (Regular) program must have the minimum of following qualifications:
- A minimum of 15 years of schooling prior to MBA
- Minimum CGPA 2.5 out of 4 (2nd Division/Class) in Bachelor degree in any discipline
- Minimum GPA 2.5 in HSC and SSC each
- Minimum grade C in 2 major subjects in ‘A’ Level, and 5 subjects in ‘O’ Level, “E” grades will not be considered.
- GED is not acceptable.
- Qualifying marks in NDUB admission tests (written and oral)
The rules and conditions for admission into this department shall be construed by the Academic Council on the recommendation of the Admission Committee each year.
A candidate for admission into the 2-year EMBA (Regular) program must have the minimum of following qualifications:
- A minimum of 15 years of schooling and at least 3-year proffessional/executive/corporate experience prior to EMBA
- Minimum CGPA 2.5 out of 4 (2nd Division/Class) in Bachelor degree in any discipline.
- Minimum GPA 2.5 in HSC and SSC each
- Minimum grade C in 2 major subjects in ‘A’ Level, and 5 subjects in ‘O’ Level, “E” grades will not be considered.
- GED is not acceptable.

Offline Application Process
A complete application will contain the following:
- Filling up the application form signed by the applicant himself/herself
- Four passport size photographs with names
- Original copy of all certificates and transcripts (mark sheets); original copy will be returned
- Attested photocopies of all certificates and transcripts (mark sheets)
- One set of appointment letter(s) and experience certificate(s), if any (attested)
- Application fee: Tk. 1,000/= (one thousand only: non-refundable) – payable at the NDUB office.
