About
When the Holy Cross Catholic missionaries established Notre Dame University Bangladesh (NDUB) in 2013, they were carrying forward the educational work of Holy Cross that began in East Bengal more than 150 years ago. The university is dedicated to academic excellence as it seeks to provide its students with professional skills that will prepare them for success careers. In addition, NDUB aims to help students acquire the wisdoms, vision, and awareness needed in today’s global community.
This University is a safe place to be. NDUB has “safe-guarding policy” which assures that everyone is treated with respect.
The faculty of this University is competent and available to students. Classes are held and good instruction is given. Students are challenged and are helped as well.
At this University English is given special importance and we work to increase the English language capacity of every student.
The motto of the University is “The competence to see and the courage to act”. That is, “Bright Minds and Bold Hearts”. That is what this University strives to see in every student.
Mission, Vision & Objectives
To seek sincerely and achieve diligently true knowledge and wisdom for life and living, through studies in humanities and technologies, based on the local Bangladesh culture and spiritual heritage, so that the students develop their best selves to serve their society and contribute effectively to humanity.

History
With Government permission received on April 29, 2013, and with hopes of beginning the University in a small way in 2014, it is worthwhile to understand how Holy Cross Fathers got to this point. This short write-up is not a detailed history of the events leading to the founding of the university. Fr. Adam Pereira, CSC, has assembled such an outline. This rather is a picture of the different influences that have brought they this far.

Board of Trustees
The Board of Trustees is the ultimate authority within the University, responsible for the establishment of policies and execution of decisions necessary for the success of the University. Members of the Board are chosen and the Chair of the Board is designated according to criteria specified in the Bylaws of the University.
Syndicate
The Administration is the authority responsible for all academic matters of the University. It coordinates the following: admission of students, performance of teachers, excellence of education, integrity of examinations, formulation of curriculum, selection of research topics, and other responsibilities as specified by the NDUB authorities. — Demo Text

Advisory Board
The Advisory Board of NDUB offers guidance and vision to the Administration of the University. Concerned and experienced members of Bangladesh society, the Advisory Board meets on an occasional schedule to review the progress of the University and to offer insight and advice towards the advancement of University goals.
