To promote employee well-being, professional development, and cultural enrichment, Notre Dame University Bangladesh (NDUB) has successfully organized a series of excursions for both academic and non-academic staff members.
These initiatives, coordinated by the Human Resources (HR) Office, comprised international tours to the Maldives and Sri Lanka, and Nepal, alongside a domestic excursion to Bandarban.












#Academic staff
As part of this initiative, academic staff members participated in an international excursion to the Maldives and Sri Lanka from December 8 to 15, 2025. The program included a total of 29 faculty members and administrators.
Participants experienced diverse landscapes, cultures, and environments that strengthened professional relationships and encouraged informal engagement beyond the academic setting.

#Administrative staff
In a similar effort, the university organized an international excursion for administrative staff to Nepal from April 9 to 14, 2026, with the participation of 35 staff members and administrators.
Participants visited several key destinations, including Chandragiri Hills, Pokhara, Sarangkot, Phewa Lake, Devi’s Falls, Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Swayambhunath Temple, and Nagarkot.
The itinerary featured scenic travel, cultural experiences, and team-based activities, such as viewing sunrise over the Himalayan ranges and a cultural evening with traditional performances.
The tour played a vital role in strengthening workplace relationships, boosting motivation, and expanding participants’ cultural awareness.

#Support staff
Additionally, a domestic excursion for support staff was organized in Bandarban on April 23 and 24, 2026. During the two-day program, participants visited Nilgiri, Thanchi, Toma Tongi, Chimbuk Hill, Bolipara, Rorangchori, Nilachal, Meghla, and Sharna Mondir, as originally planned.
The tour provided an opportunity for relaxation, appreciation of natural landscapes, and strengthening of interpersonal connections among staff members.
Members of the administration, including Fr. Amol A Rozario, CSC, Director of Finance & Accounts, Fr. Edmond Cruze, CSC, Director of Maintenance, and Fr. Swapan A. Das, CSC, Assistant Registrar (Academic), accompanied the group.
