The much-anticipated NDUB CSE Fest 2026 has officially begun at Notre Dame University Bangladesh to celebrate innovation, technology, and academic excellence.
The festival began on Thursday afternoon (May 14, 2026) with a colorful and energetic campus rally, where university officials, faculty members, and students actively participated.





Following the rally, the inauguration ceremony was held in the presence of distinguished guests and university officials. Speeches were delivered by Dr. Fr. Patrick Daniel Gaffney CSC, Vice Chancellor, Dr. Fr. Charles B. Gordon CSC, Pro-Vice Chancellor, and Dr. Br. Subal Lawrence Rozario CSC, Registrar. The program was then inaugurated through a symbolic release of balloons and doves.
During their speeches, the dignitaries emphasized the importance of developing both technical expertise and ethical values among future computing professionals and praised such initiatives in shaping responsible innovators.
The ceremony was also attended by several key university officials, including Fr. Edmond Cruze CSC, Director of Maintenance, Dr. Aloke Kumar Chakraborty, Dean, Fr. Ashim Theotonius Gonsalves CSC, Deputy Registrar, Fr. Badhon Hilarious Rozario CSC, Deputy Exam Controller, and Prof. A. H. M. Saiful Islam, Chairman of CSE Department, among others.
According to the event schedule, the festival will continue on Friday (May 15) with the STEM Olympiad. On Saturday (May 16), the Inter-University Programming Contest (IUPC), featuring participation from a total of 86 university teams, and a seminar titled “Beyond Code: Ethics, Logic, and Competitive Programming” will take place.
The three-day festival will conclude later that evening with a closing ceremony and cultural program.
