Notre Dame University Bangladesh (NDUB) celebrated the much-anticipated Halloween Spooktacular, hosted by NDUB Drama and Film Club, at the auditorium on October 31.
The day-long event, which drew over 300 students, featured thrilling performances, competitions, and a festive atmosphere. Several student-run stalls offering food and accessories kept the crowd engaged throughout the day.
The program commenced with a welcome speech from Pro Vice-Chancellor Fr. Charles B. Gordon, CSC, followed by remarks from representatives of Mastermind Education Consultancy, one of the sponsors of the event.
An exciting moment of the event was the Cosplay Competition, with David Tripura winning first place. Aditi Sarker and Payel D’Costa took the second and third places, respectively. The event also featured a singing performance and an interactive dance session that had the audience on their feet.
Faculty members and university officials, including NDUB Treasurer and Acting Proctor Dr. Fr. Subash Adam Pereira, CSC, and Dean Prof. Dr. Aloke Kumar Chakraborty, were present at the event. The program was organized under the guidance of Club Moderator Afrista Birjis, with Club President Maria Hossain Prity and Vice President Suhana Tasneem playing key roles.
The Halloween Spooktacular, sponsored by Mastermind Education Consultancy and supported by Fantasy Kingdom and Nestlé Bangladesh, was hailed as a success, leaving students eagerly waiting for the upcoming celebrations.
