Seminar at NDUB highlights pathways to study abroad

Notre Dame University Bangladesh Law Club (NDUBLC) successfully organized a seminar titled “Study Abroad: Unlocking Global Opportunities”, on August 26, 2025, offering valuable insights for students aspiring to pursue higher education overseas.

The seminar, chaired by Dr. Fr. Charles B. Gordon, CSC, Pro-Vice Chancellor of NDUB, featured two distinguished speakers.

Sharing reflections from his academic journey, Dr. Md Mustakimur Rahman, Associate Professor and Chairman of the Department of Law, focused on motivation letters, visa requirements, identifying PhD supervisors, and effective strategies for university selection.

Meanwhile, Tahsin Khan, Assistant Professor of the same department, highlighted key aspects of the pre-planning stage, application preparation, university selection, scholarships, and challenges, drawing from his personal experiences.

The seminar drew an impressive audience with 180 students with registration, other students, teachers, and officials from different administrative departments.

At the end, the Executive Panel 2024 of the club was awarded certificates in recognition of their contributions.
