Notre Dame University Bangladesh Business Club (NDUBBC) arranged a quiz competition titled “Business QuizYard” which comprised business related academic and general knowledge.
Students participated in a MCQ test containing 40 MCQ of that type. Around 64 students from all departments participated in the preliminary round on July 5 to unleash their talent through this competition. Among them, 24 students qualified to participate in the final round of “Business Quizyard” held on July 19, 2022.
With the latest development, NDUBBC arranged a prize giving ceremony on August 2, 2022 at t6he Open Space of the university. Vice Chancellor of NDUB, Prof. Dr. Fr. Patrick Daniel Gaffney, CSC, presided the session as chief guest while Md. Mahbub Alam, Deputy Managing Director of NCC Bank Ltd. attended the program as special guest.
Sr. Shagorica Maria Gomes, CSC, coordinator of clubs, Chairperson of Business Administration department Parimal Chandra Datta, moderator of Business Club Tanzia Rahman and co-moderator Dr. Md. Abdul Hakim as well as faculty members were also present at the program.
Abid Hossain of BBA 15th batch won the title of “Business QuizYard” while first runner-up Md Maynul Islam of BBA 16th batch and Nafisa Siddika of BBA 22nd batch achieved first and second runner-up places respectively.
All of them were awarded with crest and certificate. After the prize giving ceremony, a short cultural program was arranged, which included song and dance performance by the students. NDUBBC express its gratitude and highly appreciated the engagement of guests, faculties, students, volunteers, and executive committee members of the club.
