A discussion meeting was held in the open place of the Notre Dame University Bangladesh (NDUB) on the occasion of the historic speech of 7th March by the greatest Bangli of all time Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on 07 March 2023.
The event started with the national anthem and during that time Honorable Vice-Chancellor of NDUB Prof. Dr. Fr. Patrick Daniel Gaffney, CSC, and Treasurer Fr. Subas Adam Pereira, CSC hoisted the national flag and NDUB flag. After that, in memory of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Registrar Dr. Fr. Leonard Shankar Rozario, CSC lit a candle. Dr. Fr. Patrick, VC welcomed everyone to this discussion meeting and he mentioned that we all are working to build the dream country of Bangabandhu and we will be successful one day with our dedication to the country and humankind. In this sequence, the video of the historic speech of 7th March by Bangabandhu was played on the projector. Later on, the main speaker of this discussion meeting Fr. Boniface Tolentino, CSC, discuss the significance of the day at that time. He highlighted the impact of the speech on the Bengali nation towards the liberation war. In the end, the Registrar Dr. Fr. Leonard Shankar Rozario thanked everyone to participate in the event actively.
