


The first phase of the Inter-Department Indoor Games Tournament at Notre Dame University Bangladesh (NDUB) was successfully held on the university campus, bringing excitement, energy, and friendly rivalry.
A total of 80 students from five departments – Business Administration (DBA), Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), English, Law, and Microbiology – competed in carom, table tennis, and ludo on August 18, 20, and 21.
In carom (Male), CSE took the championship title while Law secured the runners-up position. Carom (Female) saw Microbiology claim the top spot with Law close behind. Law dominated the table tennis (Male) category, winning both champion (Law A) and runner-up (Law B). Meanwhile, English earned the table tennis (Female) championship, with DBA as runners-up.
Microbiology showed their strength once again in ludo (Female), becoming champions, followed by DBA as runners-up, Law as second runners-up, and English as third runners-up.
On August 18, the tournament was inaugurated by Dr. Fr. Subash Adam Pereira, CSC, Treasurer of NDUB, in the presence of Fr. Ashim Theotonius Gonsalves, CSC, Deputy Registrar, Fr. Binoy Sebastian Gomes, CSC, Deputy Proctor, and Sr. Shagorica Maria Gomes, CSC, Deputy Director of Student Affairs.
The final day of the first phase, held on August 21, was graced by Dr. Fr. Charles B. Gordon, CSC, Pro-Vice Chancellor, along with Sr. Shagorica Maria Gomes, CSC, who encouraged the players with their presence.
Winners and runners-up will be honored with prizes at the conclusion of the second phase of the tournament, scheduled for September.
