NDUB hosts seminar on careers in web development

Notre Dame University Bangladesh (NDUB) held a seminar titled “Code Your Future: Careers in Web Development” on May 27 at on its campus. The event, organized by the NDUB Computer Club, aimed to introduce students from various academic disciplines to career opportunities in web development.

Khurshaduzzaman Razib, Vice President of Engineering at Astha IT, were present as the keynote speaker. In his address, he highlighted the growing demand for web developers and encouraged students to embrace continuous learning regardless of their academic backgrounds. “Anyone can learn to code if they are curious and committed,” he said.

NDUB Vice Chancellor Dr. Fr. Patrick Daniel Gaffney, CSC, also addressed the students. He underscored the importance of using technology for meaningful purposes and personal growth, saying, “Success is not only about skills, but about integrity, effort, and vision.”

Club Moderator Prof. A. H. M. Saiful Islam and Co-moderator Nafisa Tabassum, were also present there. At the end of the seminar, a souvenir was presented to Keynote Speaker Razib as a token of appreciation for his contribution.

Students attending the event expressed enthusiasm, noting that the seminar provided clarity and motivation regarding careers in the tech industry.
