NDUB holds training oncomplex engineering problems & activities

Notre Dame University Bangladesh (NDUB) organized a day-long training on Complex Engineering Problems (CEP), Complex Engineering Activities (CEA), and SAR Documentation under BAETE Accreditation on Tuesday (January 27, 2026).

The session was facilitated by Dr. Mohammad Shahriar Rahman, Professor of CSE at United International University and Program Evaluator of the Board of Accreditation for Engineering and Technical Education (BAETE).

The training, attended by 22 participants, aimed to help engineering educators design, map, and document CEP and CEA in line with BAETE requirements and Washington Accord compliance.

Throughout the program, participants explored CEP and CEA attributes with real-life examples, discussed Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI), and reviewed NDUB’s ongoing Self-Assessment Report (SAR) documentation.

The program was graced by the presence of Dr. Fr. Patrick Daniel Gaffney, CSC, Vice Chancellor of NDUB, Dr. Bro. Subal Lawrence Rozario, CSC, Registrar, Fr. Ashim Theotonius Gonsalves, CSC, Deputy Registrar, along with other distinguished faculty members and officials.
