NDUB Cultural Club hosts vibrant Pitha Utsab

Notre Dame University Bangladesh (NDUB) came alive with colors, flavors, and cultural celebration during the “Pitha Utsab 2025” organized by the NDUB Cultural Club on February 11.

The festival featured 10 diverse stalls offering a wide variety of traditional pithas, reflecting the rich culinary heritage of Bangladesh.

The moment was graced by Vice Chancellor Dr. Fr. Patrick Daniel Gaffney, CSC, who officially opened the festival with words of encouragement for upholding cultural traditions.

Several distinguished guests, including Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr. Fr. Charles B. Gordon, CSC, Treasurer and Acting Proctor Dr. Fr. Subash Adam Pereira, CSC, Deputy Registrar Fr. Ashim Theotonius Gonsalves, CSC, Deputy Director of Student Affairs Sr. Shagorica Maria Gomes, CSC, along with faculty members, staff, and students, attended the event, enhancing its significance and fostering a sense of community.

Adding to the festivities, a face-painting corner led by students Rifa and Hridy delighted the attendees. The event was further energized by vibrant live performances from Sharan, Prince, Anuvab, Sushmita, and Sylvester, captivating the audience with their talents.
