Digital entrance gate launched at NDUB

Notre Dame University Bangladesh (NDUB) officially launched its digital entrance gate on Wednesday (September 3, 2025) with a vibrant inauguration ceremony.

Dr. Fr. Charles B. Gordon, CSC, Pro-Vice Chancellor of NDUB, along with administrators, teachers, and students inaugurated the gate by cutting the ribbon. He remarked that the new system marks a step toward ensuring both safety and discipline in the campus life.

Treasurer Dr. Fr. Subash Adam Pereira, CSC, delivered the welcome speech. He said, “This initiative reflects NDUB’s continuous commitment to modernization and better service for our community.”

Other attendees included Br. Subal Lawrence Rozario, CSC, Dominic Dilu Peris, Director of Human Resources, Fr. Edmond Cruze, CSC, Director of Maintenance, Fr. Ashim Theotonius Gonsalves, CSC, Deputy Registrar, Fr. Badhon Hilarious Rozario, CSC, Deputy Exam Controller, Sr. Shagorica Maria Gomes, CSC, Deputy Director of Student Affairs, and Fr. Binoy Sebastian Gomes, CSC, Deputy Proctor, along with faculty members, students, and staff. According to the official notice, students must use their university-approved ID card for access, while faculty and staff will use their registered fingerprint. The system will be effective for all from September 4, 2025.
