Shadika Haque Monia joined as Lecturer of Law at Notre Dame University on the 1st of September, 2021. She has completed graduation (LLB) from Stamford University Bangladesh with the 1st position. Later on, she was awarded the ‘SAARC Silver Jubilee Scholarship’ and pursued a two years’ master’s degree (LLM) under the scholarship from the South Asian University (Also known as SAARC University), New Delhi, India. Along with this, Miss Monia has also completed a one-year Post-Graduate Diploma (PGD) in International Human Rights, Humanitarian and Refugee Law from the Indian Institute of International Law, New Delhi, India. In 2019, she joined Xiamen University Intellectual Property Law Summer school in China with a full-founded scholarship.
She has started her teaching career in 2019 as a lecturer of Law at the Britannia University, Cumilla. She has presented a number of research papers in various national and international seminars, symposiums, and workshops. A couple of more research articles has been published in international peer-reviewed journals. She has extensive research interest and expertise in South Asian Refugee policy, International Law, Human Rights Law, International Humanitarian Law, International Refugee Law, Environmental Law, Intellectual Property Rights Law, Cyber Law, Constitutional Law, and legal research methods.
Miss Monia is firmly determined to explore the scholarships in the field of legal studies.
