Shadika Haque Monia joined Notre Dame University as a Lecturer in Law in September 2021. She is an enrolled Advocate of the Bangladesh Bar Council and a member of the Gazipur Bar Association. She obtained her LLB from Stamford University Bangladesh, where she achieved the first position. She was awarded the SAARC Silver Jubilee Scholarship to pursue her LLM at the South Asian University (SAARC University) in New Delhi, India. She also holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in International Human Rights, Humanitarian, and Refugee Law from the Indian Institute of International Law.

Miss Monia is a dedicated researcher with publications in Scopus and Web of Science indexed journals. Her research interests include South Asian refugee policy, international law, human rights law, international humanitarian law, international refugee law, environmental law, intellectual property law, cyber law, constitutional law, and legal research methods.
