Ms. Suha is a Lecturer in the Department of Law at Notre Dame University Bangladesh, where she specializes in Human Rights Law, Constitutional Development, Corporate and Commercial Law, Trial Advocacy, and Legal Drafting. She is professionally affiliated with Shameem Aziz & Associates, where she contributes to legal research, case preparation, and the development of advocacy strategies in high-profile cases. Prior to this, she worked as an Associate at both Dr. Khaled Hamid Chowdhury & Associates and Advocate Khalilur Rahman & Associates, gaining substantial experience in litigation, corporate advisory, and client consultation. She also served as a Research Associate to Advocate Imdadul Haque Khan, where she was involved in legal research, drafting, and case documentation in complex constitutional and regulatory matters. These diverse professional engagements have given her a broad and practical understanding of the law, which she continuously incorporates into her teaching and research.
Mooting Achievements and Advocacy Excellence
A distinguished mooter and advocate, Ms. Suha has represented Bangladesh in several prestigious national and international moot court competitions, earning recognition for her exceptional written and oral advocacy. She was the Champion of the 12th Henry Dunant Memorial Moot Court Competition (National Round), where her team also received the Best Memorial Award at both the National and Regional Levels—a dual distinction achieved by very few teams in the competition’s history.
Her advocacy excellence also earned her the 9th Best Memorial Award at the Nelson Mandela World Human Rights Moot Court Competition, organized by the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), marking Bangladesh’s presence on the global stage of human rights advocacy. Furthermore, she made history as the first Bangladeshi to secure the 2nd Runners-Up position at the Stetson International Environmental Moot Court Competition (East Asia Regional Rounds) — a groundbreaking achievement for Bangladesh in this globally recognized competition.
In addition, she was the Winner of the NILS Moot Court Competition, organized by the Liberation War Museum, and the Runners-Up at the BRAC University Intra-Moot Court Competition, where she was also awarded the Best Mooter of BRAC University for her exceptional performance. Beyond her individual success, Ms. Suha has coached and mentored teams for the 15th and 16th Henry Dunant Memorial Moot Court Competitions (National Rounds), training students in research strategy, written submissions, and oral pleading.
