Arif Ahmed

Details

Arif Ahmed is an academic activist, freelance journalist (columnist), and lawyer. He is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Law, Notre Dame University Bangladesh. He is also a lawyer at the Supreme Court of Bangladesh. He has worked at Southeast University, Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT), and the Human Development Research Center (HDRC). He holds LL.B. (Hons.) and LL.M. degrees from the University of Dhaka, securing first class in his LL.M. His areas of interest include International Human Rights Law, International Law of Refugees, Public International Law, and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR). He has published several books and articles in national and international law journals. He also writes for national dailies.
