A. H. M. Saiful Islam

Details

A. H. M. Saiful Islam was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He passed B.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) in 2003 from Khulna University. His final year thesis was on Bioinformatics. A paper was published on his final year thesis in the international conference ICCIT 2013 held in Jahangirnagar University.
He completed his M.Sc. in CSE from North South University. His M.Sc. work was published in 2nd International Conference on Informatics, Electronics & Vision (ICIEV), 2013 ICIEV, Dhaka, 2013.
He passed S.S.C from Motijheel Ideal School and College (1996), H.S.C from Notre Dame College (1998). He was given prize for the 100% attendance in class six in Ideal School and College. He also got the certificate for the 100% attendance in the College.
Research interests of A. H. M. Saiful Islam are Programming, Discrete Mathematics, IT Organization, Software Engineering, and Theory of Computation. He is also interested in Wireless Computing, Mobile Computing.
A. H. M. Saiful Islam joined in the Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Development Alternative (UODA) in the year 2006 as Lecturer. As Lecturer he worked there as Project Coordinator to conduct the CSE final year students’ projects as well as interns. He was promoted to Asst. Professor and was made Head of the Department in 2009.  He prepared M.Sc. in CSE Syllabus there. He had been awarded certificate for smoothly conducting the department. He was also involved in conducting Computer based courses in BBA and MBA level in UODA. He, along with his colleagues, published several papers in different national and international conferences as well as in national and international journals. He joined the Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering, Daffodil International University (DIU) in 2012. There he was made a member of Project Committee of CSE Dept. He was the Organizing Secretary of ICCIT 2014 hosted by Daffodil International University. Besides, he was a moderator of DIU CPC Club. He also published several papers in different national/international conferences/international journals along with his colleagues. He supervised many projects and intern in DIU.
