Cultural Club Inauguration Day at NDUB Campus

NDUB Cultural Club started its journey on February 6, 2016. However, it was officially inaugurated on November 9, 2016 at Notre Dame University Bangladesh Campus having Bappa Mazumder as Chief Guest. He is a prominent figure in Bangladeshi music and cultural industry.

NDUB Cultural Club is still fresh and so far had only one event which was its orientation program. However, Bappa Mozumder’s appearance and the performances made the event really attractive and enjoyable to all.  The program was attended by Fr. Benjamin Costa, CSC, VC-in-charge, Fr. Adam S Pereira, CSC, Registrar, SK. Rezwan Shihab, Moderator, Tasnuva Sharmin, Co-Moderator, faculty, students and office staff. Bappa Mazumder is an ex- student of Notre Dame College and the Cultural Club’s gesture of good will over-whelmed him. In his speech he mentioned: “I’m proud to be here today. There is no alternative to bring out the hidden talents in someone than extra curriculum activities. I believe that Notre Dame University Bangladesh Cultural Club will play an important role in practicing extra curriculum activities.

Later in that event Bappa Mazumder gave a heart touching performance on students’ demands. He was honored with a crest by  F।r Benjamin CSC, and  Tasnuva Sharmin.
