Notre Dame University Bangladesh Business Club had an amazing opportunity to visit the Social Marketing Company Enterprise Ltd. factory, Mymensingh, Bhaluka on 26 November 2022 to observe very closely the quality assurance, production planning, production operation, packaging, inventory control, research, and development.
A group of 37 students along with three honorable faculties Dr. Abdul Hakim, Md. Walilullah and Annie Christina Rozario made a visit to SMC Enterprise Ltd., one of the significant contributors to the Bangladesh national health and family planning program. Entering the gates of SMC Enterprise Ltd. was like opening a book of pharmaceutical technology where each and every manufacturing unit is ideally designed and strategically located for maintaining quality. The management of the company briefed the students and actively interacted with the students during the trip. It was a great learning experience for the students to go through the practical management operations. Students visited the SMC Pharmaceuticals department, SMC ORS factory storage, and quality assurance procedure.
Students conveyed their sincere gratitude to the executive committee of the Business Club who relentlessly supported and made things happen successfully. To conclude, the industrial visit was a thorough learning experience where the students could learn beyond books and also could relate their theoretical knowledge with practical implementation.
