Conditions for Scholarship and Waiver
1. Students seeking waivers and/or scholarships must
apply prior to the beginning of the semester for which they desire financial
aid.
2. The CGPA of the scholarship candidate must be a minimum
of 3.00 (B) on a scale of 4. Waivers and scholarships will be revoked if a
recipient gets a grade lower than 3.00.
3. Class attendance of the candidate must be regular.
A student with lower than 85% attendance will not be eligible for waiver or
scholarships.
4. Students must maintain continuous study without
leaves or breaks and complete their degrees in the normal four-year period. Gaps
due to medical needs are allowed but should be confirmed by a doctor. In
exceptional cases, a leave or break may be allowed with continuance of the waiver
or scholarship, at the discretion of the authorities.
5. If a student fails in any subject or drops his/her
required CGPA in a semester, he/she will not be considered for a tuition
fee waiver for the following semester. A waiver or scholarship recipient with a
pattern of failing classes will be discontinued.
6. Any student who repeats or retakes a course will
not be eligible for a tuition fee waiver for the following semester. If
a student has taken any retake or repeat course(s) in the previous semester,

semester.
7. Students qualifying for waiver or scholarship who have
any incomplete or pending grade in a given semester must nonetheless pay for
all the courses. However, if he/she obtains the required CGPA after “make-up”
or grade submission, his/her fees in excess of the waiver will be reimbursed or
adjusted in the following semester.
8. A student will be eligible for a maximum of two
categories of scholarships and/or waivers. A student who gets a waiver for
excellent results can be granted only one scholarship. Overall, a student can
be granted a maximum 80% scholarship/waiver.
9. A student who can demonstrate financial need and who
maintains a CGPA of 3.00 and above, can qualify for a waiver or scholarship
upon application.
10. A recipient must fully comply with the Code of
Conduct of the University. Breaches of this policy by any recipient may lead to
a suspension or revoking of the waiver or scholarship for good.
11. Granting waiver or scholarship support will be
applicable only for tuition fees—that is, not for admission fee, semester fee,
