Sultana Shahida Abedin

Ms Sultana Shahida Abedin is working as an Assistant Professor (Finance) in NDUB since January, 2023. Before joining here she used to teach at Eastern University, Bangladesh.
After finishing her bachelors from the Finance Department, Faculty of Business Studies, University of Dhaka, she went to UK. She completed her MSc in Investment and Finance from Queen Mary, University of London, U.K. currently she is working on her PhD research under University of Dhaka in collaboration with Swansea University, UK- a full funded project by World Bank.
Sultana has great interest in research especially in the area of Green Financing, Financial Distress and the Monetary Policy Transmission Mechanism. She has many publications in international journals and contributes continuously to the field of researches. Recently she got notable appreciation on the paper presented by her in the international conference-ICBT, organized by Faculty of Business, University of Dhaka; Weiden Business School, Germany and University of Asia Pacific, Dhaka. She is keen to learn and spread the up to date knowledge of the business world to her students to make them ready for the market they will enter soon.
