NDUB holds SLR & research software training

Notre Dame University Bangladesh (NDUB) organized a training session on “Systematic Literature Review (SLR) and Software Integration” on Saturday (January 17, 2026) at the university auditorium.

The session was facilitated by Dr. Muhammad Aminur Rahman, Associate Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT). A total of 77 participants from various departments and offices of NDUB attended the session.

The training focused on PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic reviews and Meta-Analyses) guidelines, formulating research questions, advanced search strategies in global databases, and the use of research software for article screening, evaluation, and reporting. Participants were also guided on preparing manuscripts suitable for submission to reputed journals.

The program commenced with an opening speech by Vice Chancellor Dr. Fr. Patrick Daniel Gaffney, CSC, and concluded with vote of thanks by Dean Prof. Dr. Aloke Kumar Chakraborty.
