Israt Jahan is a Lecturer in the Department of English at Notre Dame University Bangladesh. She holds an M.A. in Applied Linguistics and English Language Teaching (ELT) and a B.A. in English from the Department of English, University of Dhaka. Her research interests include the teaching of speaking and writing skills, language pedagogy, and curriculum design. She has attended several national and international seminars and has contributed as a co-author to two research publications. She is particularly interested in developing contextually relevant teaching materials, exploring innovative learning methodologies, and fostering interactive classrooms that challenge traditional norms. She is also passionate about integrating literature into language teaching and nurturing students’ creative writing abilities.
