Road to Fly organized by NDUB Business Club

Notre Dame University Bangladesh Business Club has organized a seminar on “Road to Fly” on 20th September 2022 at Notre Dame University Bangladesh open space, keeping Vice Chancellor of NDUB Prof. Dr. Fr. Patrick Daniel Gaffney, CSC as the chief guest. Sr. Shagorica Maria Gomes, CSC, Asst. Director, Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Aloke Kumar Chokroborty, Dean of Faculty, and also Prof. Dr. Parimal Chandra Datta, Chairperson & Coordinator, BBA & MBA programs, Department Head of Business Administration graced the seminar with their presence, which had been a great source of inspiration and courage among the students. NDUB Business club moderator Tanzia Rahman and NDUB Business Club Co-moderator Dr. Md. Abdul Hakim were also present. Among the faculty members Dr. Vhokto Kumar Biswas, Assistant Professor, BBA Program was also present. The special guests from Education Hub Limited were:

1. Md Mubarak Hossain, The Branch Manager of Education Hub Limited.

2. Abdullah Al Masud, The Operation Manager of Education Hub Limited.

3. Abdullah Arafat, The Head of Operations of Education Hub Limited.

4. Lenin Vincent, graduate student of NDUB and Student Counsellor of Education Hub Limited.

5. Md. Sayeed Bin Newaz, a Former President of NDUB Business Club and Student Counsellor of Education Hub Limited.

The opening remark of “Road to Fly” seminar was given by the Honourable Vice Chancellor of NDUB, Prof. Dr. Fr. Patrick Daniel Gaffney, CSC.

Prof. Dr. Aloke Kumar Chokroborty Dean of Faculty and Prof. Dr. Parimal Chandra Datta Chairperson & Coordinator, BBA & MBA programs, Department Head of Business Administration delivered their valuable speech. The seminar was initiated with a formal welcoming speech by Tanzia Rahman, NDUB Business club moderator.

Mosammat Maliha Amin and Mahbub Morshed hosted the seminar. During the seminar, Md Mubarak Hossain sir, the Branch Manager, and Abdullah Al Masud sir, the Operation Manager gave an introduction about themselves and briefed the students about the educational consultancy firm “Education Hub Limited.” Abdullah Arafat sir, The Head of Operations of Education Hub Limited discussed pursuing higher studies in abroad with Education Hub. He briefed the procedure and requirements for studying abroad including British Council-approved IELTS registration with discounts. Reference and CV writing techniques were shown to the students. With an interesting term “FLY” a brief discussion took place on where, why, and how a student can study abroad.

After a broad Question-Answer session, all the special guests from Education Hub Limited were honored with a gift of love and appreciation. The participants of the seminar were appreciated with certificates and T-shirts from Education Hub Limited. Education Hub Limited Honoured Sr. Shagorica Maria Gomes, CSC, Tanzia Rahman ma’am, Dr. Abdul Hakim sir with the gift of appreciation present in the seminar. The co-moderator of NDUB Business Club, Dr. Md. Abdul Hakim Sir concluded the workshop by expressing his gratitude to the audience.

Total of 140 students registered for attending the “Road to Fly” seminar. The overwhelming response clearly explains the interest and determination of students in accomplishing education overseas. The entire seminar was very enjoyable and productive. The success of this webinar was due to inventive interactivity. The resource person’s pleasant demeanor and clear explanation made it simple and enjoyable for the participants to grasp the unknown and stay one step ahead in the competitive education field of the present generation. In recent years studying abroad has shown explosive growth in the number of students and in job holders.

Last, but not least, NDUB Business Club is always proud and grateful for the wonderful, full-house engagement of faculties, students, and volunteers who encouraged us throughout the seminar. NDUB Business Club unleashes students’ inner talents and prepares them for the corporate world through various club activities. So, Dream Big, Think Bigger!
