The 38th National Youth Day was held on February 19, 2023, with the participation of 530 young people all over Bangladesh under the initiative of the Episcopal Commission for Youth. This year’s Youth Day has been organized in Shelabunia, Khulna. A timely session is held on the second day to give career ideas and encourage the youth. In this session, National award-winning entrepreneur and freelancer Subir Xavier Nokrek shared about freelancing and Jack Parves Rozario shared his experience regarding BCS Cadre. After this experience sharing, a team from Notre Dame University Bangladesh (NDUB) gave a presentation that how young people can make better decisions and prepare themselves for their careers. Moreover, the NDUB team also highlighted the scope and support for better academics and careers for the young generation. The NDUB team was led by the deputy registrar Fr. Ashim Theotonius Gonsalves CSC and the presentation was presented from the public relations office by Mr. Sandy Francis Peris and Newton Mondol. Additionally, two current students of NDUB also share their experiences in NDUB within this session. The NDUB team offer the participants all kind of possible support for their betterment of them and ask them to keep in touch for more opportunities. In the end, Fr. Bikash James Rebeiro, CSC conclude the session with a vote of thanks to the speakers.
