Aroop Saha has been working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of English at Notre Dame University Bangladesh since July 2023. Before NDUB, he served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of English at Stamford University Bangladesh where he joined as a Lecturer in September 2009. He started his teaching career as a Teaching Assistant in the Department of English and Humanities of BRAC University in May 2007.
Along with his work, Aroop Saha is pursuing his PhD in the Department of English at Jahangirnagar University under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Sanyat Sattar. Currently, he is doing the final editing on the reviewer’s feedback and preparing to face the final PhD defense.
Aroop Saha completed his M.A. in English in August 2008 obtaining the highest CGPA 3.93 out of 04.00 and Vice Chancellor’s Gold Medal Award and his B.A. in English in May 2007 securing CGPA 3.44 out of 4.00 from BRAC University. He did two scholarly dissertations in his M.A. and B.A. under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Kaiser Haq.
Aroop Saha has five published articles; two were published in ASA University Review, another two in Stamford Journal of English, and the other in Bangladesh University Journal. He did a paper presentation at the ‘International Conference – Celebrating 50 years of Things Fall Apart’ arranged by the Department of English of Dhaka University.
