Kamol Gomes

Kamol Gomes was born in Pabna, Bangladesh and had his early education in Dhaka (Notre Dame College), HSC in 1991 and M.Com Degree (Management) in 2000 from Chittagong University, Chittagong, and M. Phil. degree from Chittagong University in 2014 on Exploration of Conflict Management and its Impacts.

After graduation Kamol Gomes worked in a world-wide international NGO World Vision Bangladesh in 2000 and then joined the world largest multinational cement manufacturing company Holcim Bangladesh Ltd. as a Marketing Executive in 2003. He joined the Notre Dame College as a Lecturer in Business Studies Department in 2004 and was appointed a Senior Lecturer of Business Studies Dept. in 2013. He was the Co-moderator of Notre Dame Debating Club (2005-2014), Convener (Communication) of Concerted Effort to Develop Quality Education   (2008-2015)

Kamol Gomes has authored Text Books in National Curriculum Text Book in HSC Level-   (i) Business Organization & Management (ii) Finance & Banking and Insurance (iii) Production Management & Marketing.

Kamol Gomes has acted as Consultant to a number of national and international agencies on Management and Administrative Procedures (advising Symbiosis Bangladesh, Strategic Research Centre Bangladesh, Mothurapur Students’ Movement). He was a Member of Executive Committee of Bangladesh Catholic Students’ Movement (BCSM).  He was the President of Young Men’s Christian Association (YMCA) for two terms (2007, 2008). Currently he is working as a Vice-President of Mothurapur Christian Bahumukhi Samobaya Samiti and a Member of central committee of Concerted Effort to Develop Quality Education.

He is currently the Moderator of the Notre Dame University Debating Society. He is a Member of Dhaka Metropolitan Christian Housing Association. He had been involved in various technical committees of the co-curricular activities in Notre Dame as well as social agencies.
Kamol Gomes has been actively involved in various activities of the Notre Dame University Bangladesh in capacities. He is very much interested in research programs especially in Management fields
